Bringing back the old ways
This is the first roll of film that I have received back from getting processed. I used Kodak Gold 200 film which seems to be a popular roll at the moment. This was a nice first test. I’m not sure how I feel about these photos. I think they look cool and old. But even for film, there is way to much grain for my liking. I’ve seen other photos shot on Kodak Gold 200 and they are pretty clean photos. I’ll have to figure out what I’m doing wrong but from a quick look at the photos, I think I’m setting my aperture to low, not letting in enough light be exposed to the film. When I shoot digital, I often crank my aperture all the way to f/22 on an extremely bright sunny day, which let’s in the least amount of light on this lens, especially when I’m not using an ND filter. It also makes it so that everything is in focus.
If that isn’t the issue, then either something in this camera might be damaged or not functioning properly and I need to look into that.
